Admission Rules
Application for admission will be accepted only on the prescribed form, which can be obtained from the school along with the prospectus.
Children who have completed three years of age as on 31st July are admitted to Nursery.
Children who have completed four years of age as on 31st July are admitted to KG - I.
Children who have completed five years of age as on 31st July are admitted to KG - II.
Children who have completed six years of age as on 30th Sept are admitted to Class - I.
MOUNT CARMEL students passing KG-II are not required to take fresh admission to Class-I.
Students offered admission will have to submit the following documents
Photocopy of Birth Certificate.
Passport-size photographs with Name and Date.
SSSMID
Aadhaar Card.
Caste Certificate (For SC, ST and OBC students)
Photocopy of Bank Passbook.
Original Marksheet of previous class & photocopy
Original T.C. of previous school.
Father's & Mother's photograph with name & date.
Permanent Education Number (PEN)
Aadhaar Card of Father & Mother (Photocopy)
T. C. with DISE CODE & School Code.

Examination And Promotions :
The academic session is divided into two terms for the assessment of the students:
Term I : July to November
Term II : December to April
Tests and Examinations are conducted to assess the academic performance of the child and remedial measures will be taken to rectify the weak areas of each student.
There will be Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual Examinations besides class tests.
No re-examination will be conducted under any circumstances.
No student should remain absent from any test/ examination without the prior written approval of the Principal.
Absence from test/examination shall be entirely at the risk of the parents. It involves a total loss of marks.
The final assessment for promotion shall be based on the whole year’s performance of the student.
The minimum percentage for passing is 33% for each subject.
75% attendance is compulsory for appearing in the Annual Examination.
There is general promotion and no supplementary for classes KG-I to Class-IV.
Provision for supplementary examination is given in one or two subjects for classes V to XI according to Government norms.
Grace marks are given according to the norms of the M. P. Board.
Answer sheets of test / examination will be shown to the parents to have an idea of their child’s performance.
Answer sheets of Annual Examination shall not be shown to the parents and request for revaluation shall not be entertained.
In case the School has to be closed due to any unforeseen reason, the test/examination planned for that day will be held on the next working day following the last examination date, as may be notified.
Any student found cheating or attempting to cheat will be given a zero in that paper and / or imposed any other punishment including dismissal at the discretion of the management.
All school dues must be fully cleared before a student appears for any test/examination.
All cases of doubts and complaints regarding promotion will be decided at the Principal’s discretion.
